EA Talent Squad Coaching Sessions  - Report 3

The latest Talent Academy session by East Anglia’s coach Rich Townsend saw the riders replace the strength and conditioning training MTBs, for the more favoured 20 inch BMXs.

Peterborough track was the location for a days session of skill. Manualling was the order of the day, as Rich got all the riders to navigate numerous parts of the track on their back wheel only.

Gating style was analysed too, as Rich focused on this essential skill.

Saving the best to last, Rich decided to see how the strength and conditioning training had benefited the riders with individual timed laps – the best of two. Needless to say they were quick and very quick.
